We all have heard the phrase: “Every day is a new opportunity”, and I believe in that personally. Every second that we live is utilised in some way or the other. It is true even if we are just sitting and overthinking on our couch. We all know what TIME is and how impactful it can be, but we get to know about time as we gain experience. And, the experience cannot be rented or leased; it can only be acquired. So relax if you feel it is the worst time of your life. Nothing is permanent and explain yourself that it cannot end with just woes; there has to be something more than that in your life- a motivation. The only thing that we can determine is the ending.
Innovation and resources are two main hot-topics of our modern world. And, as an engineer, it always compels you to take on the planet with either of the two. Show your innovation or your plan for alternative resources and win big in today’s world. These topics have been much the hype in today’s generation. So, like all of us, even I had a dream- a dream of independence, love and responsibility. I wanted to be my own boss and wanted to like what I do.
Job life was monotonous and heartbreaking- deadlines felt heavy, I missed my family and friends. To be honest, I never was able to have free time to live my life. But, I must repeat, I had a dream. I wanted to return the environment in its own methods what it has provided us for this long. Renewable sources always made a mark in my heart. Again, my motivation!
And it just took a moment of introspection to look for a change. In the initial days, I loved the job environment, but slowly it all got so uneasy. With around 30 years of service and just One day’s introspection, it was all clear that I had to change it all. The schedule had to be replaced.
Something made me decide with the lightning speed. Maybe a determination, perhaps the boredom, perhaps the feeling of slavery- it could be anything- it as enough to act as a motivation. But the next moment, I remember myself scrolling through the bank details and the funds. I had to take the decision—the decision of my life. I had been in the field of hydroelectric projects for quite a long time, and I knew the inside-out of the industry. This was one of the reasons why I could have the courage to feel and act on the vibes.
Solitude made it happen, and it is the best decision helper. You cannot work out your life’s decisions with chaos. All we need is a perfect state of mind to help our cause.
Money doesn’t compel us when e reach a peak of our tolerance w.r.t. Lack of satisfaction. I entered a phase when the thought of cash rarely worried me. It was all about passion. Yes, even after 30 years of service, you are allowed to follow your passion. My family and friends were not very fabricated by this idea of running a business. And this was another lesson: sometimes you need to be alone in this world with just your motivation. You will face stiff competition and negativity.
I might not be making huge profits until this date, but yes, I am living with what I like. I am satisfied with what I have as of now. At least I know that I will be faithful to my work and enjoy each moment of my existence in this logo.
Hope to see the youth, in the right spirit, working for their dreams at some point in their lives.
