The business strategy called “What’s in it For you? (WIIFY)” has been mentioned in many books of entrepreneurs and business people. These lessons are important and are a part of a sustainable business environment. This strategy looks in for your customer. There is no big asset than your customer in business. You can only create something big only if you have someone to consume it. Your service, product or ideas can only be the game changer or the next big thing if you have some people to fulfill it. He whose demands are fulfilled by you is your business core. Your business will ultimately revolve and evolve around these consumers. They will let you know about your success or future potential. They will tell you how much you will earn and how much you of an empire can you create for yourself. So, you need to ask yourself, How can I help the customer in some way? What are his/her behaviors that will help him/her identify the need to use your product, idea or service.
This thing is simply known as What is in it For You customer?
Strategy
I will connect to a customer if I can help him understand his need. I can create his need, I can transform his need. I can modify his ideas. I can manipulate him to make him my customer. In short, I can generate a sense of trust in him. So, connecting is an important part of any business. Just ask yourself what does your single customer want from us? How can you be influenced by someone? Just put yourself in his shoes and you will try to get an idea of the needs.
You need to stand out in this world. And hence we need to get to that connection, that point where you can connect to him. Once we can connect with the potential customers, we can create what he needs and even manipulate him. How can we connect profoundly? One single trick: just stop messaging and start calling up your customers. Voices can do wonders. Today’s introvert generation cannot be comfortable with people and this has to change. This will take time, but surely it will have to be implemented.
